Meet Derek Galliher

Derek Galliher, a 4th-generation Phoenician and the son of Lisa, has been licensed since 2019. He’s been involved in the industry since 2004, when he first helped Lisa study for her licensing exam. Derek, who wears hearing aids, has a personal understanding of what it’s like to navigate the world with them.

His career in the medical field has been both diverse and extensive. He began as a Nursing Assistant at age 16 and worked in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living centers, and in-home care. He later transitioned to emergency medical services, working as an EMT and then as an emergency room technician while pursuing his college studies.

Derek holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, which, combined with his hands-on experience, gives him a deep understanding of both the science behind and the compassion needed to best serve his patients.

Outside of work, Derek is a husband and father of three. His favorite sound? The roll of his D&D dice.
